Carer of the Year for Ruaridh

Another amazing achievement for one of our NE Fife Young Carers - Ruaridh Newton has won Kingdom FMs’ Carer of the Year Award

Ruaridh helps look after his mum, who has Multiple Sclerosis and provides emotional and practical support for her, often worrying about her health. He is also an avid and very talented filmmaker and currently studying in 5th year at school. Ruaridh balances all these activities and others along with his caring role. This can be quite difficult and we are so pleased that he has been recognised and awarded for his selfless efforts to help mum.
