Carers Week 2021, 7-13th June

 

We here at Fife Young Carer are proud to be supporting Carers Week This annual awareness raising campaign highlights the challenges and issues that young and adult carers face and aims to recognise the invaluable contribution they make to society and Health and Social Care.

Did you know that Carers in Scotland and the value of their care is estimated at 36 billion a year? That’s 36 billion pounds worth of resources saved due Carers.

That’s why its so important for Carers, both young and adult, to be recognised and supported. Help us to raise the profile of unpaid caring by keeping an eye on our social media sites throughout the week as we share resources, advice, information and stories from Young Carers themselves: together we can all help make Caring Visible and Valued.
