Due to additional funding from the Health and Social Care Partnership we are excited to advertise for the following people to join our dedicated team supporting young carers and young adult carers across Fife.

We are looking for creative and energetic individuals, with experience of working with vulnerable children and young people in a variety of settings. The successful candidates will have great communication and organisational skills and be able to work sensitively with children and young people of all ages. The post holders will be responsible for the assessment and review of the support needs of children and young people. Please see the job descriptions of the individual roles for more details. 

Own transport is essential. Hours are worked flexibly but you should expect to work some evenings and weekends on a regular basis.

 Administrative Assistant       

Salary £16,926 per annum, pro rata

21 hrs p/w - Part time

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a part-time Administrative Assistant to join our dedicated team, working with children and young people who have caring responsibilities in Fife. The ideal candidate will be able to prioritise their workload, have excellent IT and communication skills and experience of data input.

This position is subject to PVG scheme checks.

Young Carers Sessional Worker

£9.30 per hour - on a Sessional Basis

Fife Young Carers is looking for experienced youth workers to assist with the delivery of our young carers support groups.  Groups are held in the evening at local community venues across Fife and give children and young people respite from their caring roles.

Successful candidates will have excellent communication skills, be able to empathise and offer age appropriate support and have experience of working with children and young people in a group setting.

The position is subject to an enhanced disclosure check.
